Grüezi from Switzerland
Grüezi and welcome on the website of Rosmarie and Hugo Lüscher. We have been a couple since 1973 and have had Chows for 24 years.  We both come from families which have bred Swiss breeds and we have been around dogs since our early childhood days. Rosmarie has been an international judge and specialist judge for Chow Chows since 1993, and for Basenjis since 2004. Rosmarie is in charge of Chow-Chow breeding matters in Switzerland and is therewith a member of the board as well as an honorary member of the Swiss Chow-Chow Club. We both are also members in several European Clubs. We live at the heart of Switzerland in the so called water canton - the Aargau, at the eastern flanks of the Jura. Aargau is named after the river Aare. Our first Chow Chow bitch, Ch. Gina Gui-Li von Nan Shan came from an old Swiss breeding, her litter was the very last one. Gina-Gui-Li lived with us for 12 years, she became Swiss Champion, Swiss Clubwinner and Veteran-Championesse. Ch. Mi-Pao's Canadian Pasha was a great Chow Chow. Magnificent, very successful and noble in character – Rosmarie’s very, very big love. He was sparingly used as stud dog, he sired 15 children. His sperm is frozen at the sperm bank at Zurich University, so it is possible for him to become a father again at any time. J Ch. Sir James Show me the Way De Los Perros de Bigo lives in our house since October 18, 2007. Nuria Vigo, his breeder in Spain has become a good friend of ours. We thank her from all our heart for entrusting him to us. Sir James has become a true personality and enriches our family. He has been very successful at shows and is at 1 and ½ years already double junior champion - of Switzerland and Germany - and also Junior Clubwinner in both countries.
